How many coats of primer should I put on my models?
I am using the chaos black spray primer. I need to know how many coats in general for all Warhammer 40K Tau army models I should use. Right now I am just painting Tau gun drones.
It depends if you want to use the primer as a base-coat, if you do then you will probably need to give them two or three coats (spray lightly or you won't get an even finish) but to just give the paint something to stick to, one light coat is enough for plastics.
