Can you fire multiple profiles for a warhammer 40k weapon?
I know that you normally cannot, specifically I am asking about the soul grinder maw canon, if you look in the back of the 40k rulebook, most (meaning all) multiple profile weapons say *you may fire either focussed or dispersed, or something of that nature. for the soul grinders maw cannon, it doesn't say that, so whats the verdict?
Several weapons in the Warhammer 40,000 game possess more than one profile. A more common example is the missile launcher, which can fire both krak and frag missiles. In any one turn, it can fire in *one* of these modes, but may choose either of them in any turn. So it may fire a frag missile in one turn, and a krak missile in the next etc.
The Soul Grinder's maw cannon is a little more complicated as you can essentially buy additional firing abilities for it when constructing your army list. But each ability you buy does not replace the original ability; rather, it is additional to it.
So you begin with the "vomit" ability and can purchase the "phlegm" or "tongue" abilities on top of that. A Soulgrinder with two or more such abilities can choose which one to use in any given turn *but* can only use one.
